Brian Miller

Founder

Brian is the Founder of River Road. Brian has 20+ years of real estate investment and capital markets experience. As an Operating Principal, Brian has invested in over $100 Million in Commercial Real Estate and as a banker has advised on over $1 Billion in Commercial Real Estate transactions consisting of mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), equity and debt.

Prior to becoming a principal in multiple real estate operating companies, Brian was a Director in Ernst & Young’s (“EY”) Real Estate Investment Banking practice executing capital raises and M&A for real estate operating companies across the US. Additionally, Brian managed relationships with investors including pension funds, endowments, insurance companies, private equity firms, family offices and other institutional capital managers, both domestic and international.

Prior to EY, Brian was an Associate with Bank of America in the Global Leveraged Finance Group where he originated syndicated loans and high-yield bonds for public and private clients with a focus on the industrial and healthcare industries. Brian executed over $30 Billion in leveraged finance deal volume.

Prior to the Leveraged Finance Group, Brian was a VP with Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Group. Brian spent the early part of his career with Vision Bank and SouthTrust/Wells Fargo in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate banking.

Brian earned a BS degree in Finance from Auburn University graduating Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from Emory University.
